Iranian Scientific Counselor in Europe visits ISTT

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) welcomed Dr. Mansour Kanani, the Science Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Europe, on Saturday, December 14^th. The visit aimed to introduce the potentials of international scientific collaborations between the Iranian companies and entrepreneurs with their counterparts in Europe. ISTT vice President for Technology Support, the Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Group at ISTT and the President of Sheikh Bahaei Science & Technology Park attended the meeting and briefed the counselor on ISTT activities.

During the meeting, Dr. Kanani presented a report on the activities of the Iranian Science Counselor's office in Europe, based in Paris. He also offered practical suggestions for enhancing scientific relations between ISTT and European parks and research centers. These proposals were centered around three main areas:

Scientific Visits: Organizing visits for European professors to Iran to familiarize them with the country's research infrastructure and opportunities for joint collaborations.
Seasonal Schools: Establishing seasonal schools to bridge the gap between Iranian and European scientific elites and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
International Student Admissions: Increasing the number of international students to promote scientific and cultural exchange and attract top talents.

In this visit, Dr. Kanani praised the ISTT's success in transforming research into marketable products.
